Since I have done almost everything I wanted to do in the past few hours, I’m giving myself permission to post some photos of my grandmother, Mom’s mother, Sheila Riggs Headrick, who died of breast cancer complications when my mom was a young teenager.  I’ve seen so few photos of her that she’s been a very dimly-lit face, to me, a barely-outlined person.  Now that my aunt is scanning and uploading tons of ancient family photos on Facebook, doors are opening: I’m finally getting to “see” my grandmother.
